Help spruce up the community for student graduations and Memorial Day weekend celebrations. Please consider doing following: plant flowers, clean sidewalks, clean yards, recycle, pick-up roadsides, rake, mow, sweep, paint, landscape & more!

Meet the Candidates

(Around 4 Weeks Prior to Elections)

Before our elections, we host the opportunity for you to meet and eat with those running in our Primary and General Elections, so we may make informed voting decisions.

We invite Candidates running in the August and November Elections for offices in Oceana County, area Townships, the State of Michigan and our Nation. We also invite our local representatives.

Dinner is held at the Walkerville Wesleyan Church. The event dinner starts at 6:00 pm and Candidate presentations start at 6:30pm. Candidates and Representatives for our area are available from 6:00pm to 7:30pm to talk you.

Food costs: $5 per person, with proceeds benefiting local Emergency Food Bank

Our community celebrates our farming heritage with our annual Farm Fun Days two day event. We have a community market, kid's games, silent auction, Pioneer House Museum open house, tractor show, parade, music, food, and an open air worship service to honor our Veterans and more.

We welcome your ideas and support.

Are you coming to the 12th Annual Wildcat Spirit Day (fall carnival) at Walkerville Public Schools? You, staff, students, area residents, businesses, service providers and organziations are invited. Come support our school and its students while having fun!

At the same time, help meet student's needs by donating to the Wildcat Closet.You may also donate money.
